Terms & Conditions

1. General

  • These Terms & Conditions govern all services provided by Traveluxe (Pvt) Ltd (“the Company”) to the Client.
  • By confirming a booking with the Company, the Client acknowledges acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

2. Services

  • The Company provides travel-related services including accommodation, transportation, tours, excursions, event management, and other destination management services.
  • All services are subject to availability at the time of confirmation.

3. Bookings & Confirmation

  • A booking is confirmed only upon written acknowledgment by the Company and receipt of the required advance payment.
  • Any special requests (e.g., dietary, room preferences, mobility assistance) must be communicated at the time of booking. While the Company will make reasonable efforts, fulfillment cannot be guaranteed.

4. Payments

  • A deposit of 50% of the total invoice is required to secure the booking.
  • The balance must be settled 7 days prior to arrival in Sri Lanka.
  • Payments must be made in the agreed currency, free of any bank charges.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellations must be received in writing.
  • Cancellation charges apply as follows (unless otherwise stated in supplier policies):
    • More than 60 days before arrival – 10% of total package value.
    • 60–30 days before arrival – 20% of total package value.
    • 30–15 days before arrival – 50% of total package value.
    • Less than 15 days before arrival – 100% of total package value.
  • Once your cancellation is confirmed in writing, refunds will be processed within 30 working days.
  • Refunds will be made to the original payment method, after deducting applicable cancellation charges and bank fees.

6. Amendments

  • Any changes to confirmed bookings are subject to availability and may incur additional costs.
  • The Company reserves the right to alter itineraries due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, safety, government regulations). Equivalent alternatives will be provided where possible.

7. Responsibilities of the Company

  • To provide services as agreed in the confirmed itinerary.
  • To ensure suppliers (hotels, transport, guides, etc.) maintain expected quality standards.
  • To assist clients in case of emergencies during their travel in Sri Lanka.

8. Responsibilities of the Client

  • To ensure all travel documents (passports, visas, health certificates, insurance) are valid.
  • To adhere to Sri Lankan laws, customs, and regulations during their stay.
  • To settle any personal expenses or additional services requested that are not included in the package.

9. Liability

  • The Company acts only as an agent for hotels, airlines, transport operators, and other suppliers. It shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, delay, or inconvenience caused by third parties or events beyond its control (including natural disasters, strikes, political unrest, or pandemics).
  • The Client is strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellations, medical expenses, accidents, and personal belongings.

10. Force Majeure

  • The Company shall not be liable for failure to perform its obligations due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, terrorism, war, strikes, epidemics, or government restrictions.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

  • These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka.
  • Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
